The exhibition, which showcases the professional trajectories of the center’s female researchers, opens on April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mariana Pineda European Women’s Center of Granada.

The Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) at the University of Granada, in collaboration with the Granada City Council's Department of Education, Employment and Equality, is proud to announce the arrival of the exhibition: "Uncovering Our Minds... Women Scientists Shaping the History of the CIMCYC."

The official opening will take place on Tuesday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature a keynote talk by researchers Rocío Martínez Gutiérrez and Elisa Martín Arévalo, who will discuss the vital importance of pursuing gender equality within the scientific community.

A Living, Human Science

The exhibition aims to bring visibility to the achievements and contributions of women researchers at the CIMCYC, a Granada-based institution that is an international leader in Psychology and Neuroscience. Visitors are invited to explore the career paths, scientific breakthroughs and personal interests of 76 women scientists at various stages of their professional journeys. Through a series of collages and a narrative web portal, the display presents science as a diverse and deeply human process.

In addition, a lecture series titled "The Map of Psychology: Exploring its Fields with CIMCYC Researchers" has been organized for high school students. Using the "map" metaphor, researchers will guide students through various sub-disciplines of psychology and related fields to answer vocational questions, explore career opportunities, and provide guidance on the future of research and psychology.
