CTS581: Applied Neuropsychology and Psychoneuroimmunology (PNínsula)

The research group develops different lines of research including:

  • Understanding the mechanisms of stress in autoimmune diseases, the development of neuropsychological rehabilitation programs.
  • Research on neuropsychological alterations and mechanisms related to addictions and obesity.
  • Improving procedures and tools for detecting simulators in forensic neuropsychological assessment.
  • Understanding the differences in the neuropsychological performance of people and patients from different cultures.
  • Application of neuropsychology to the understanding of the phenomenon of gender violence and the neuropsychological sequelae suffered by abused women.
  • Influence of nutrition, socio-economic conditions and social conditions on neurodevelopment.
