Inmaculada Valor Segura is Associate professor at the Department of Social Psychology at the UGR. She has taught at the Universities of Jaén, Málaga and Granada in different degrees as well as in different Masters (currently in the Master of Psychology of Social Intervention). She is a member of the research group HUM 289 Discrimination and Stigma: Psychosocial Aspects (https://psd-gepopre.ugr.es/datos_inicio/). Her interest is focused on the study of psychosocial and emotional factors that influence the legitimization of gender violence and on the other hand, on the study of the impact of macro-social realities (social class and economic crisis) on cognitive, emotional and behavioral variables.
