María Isabel de Brugada Sauras is Full Professor at the Department of Experimental Psychology at the UGR. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Learning and Thinking and Neural and Behavioral Plasticity. She is a member of the Neuroplasticity and Learning research group (http://neplegroup.com). Her research is directed to the study of exposure effects (exposure to motivational effects, perceptual learning, etc.) on associative learning in human and non-human animals and its implications in the processes of intake regulation, diet choice and obesity prevention. Her interest is also directed to the study of the effects of dietary choline supplementation and exposure to high fat and high sugar diets on learning, attention and memory processes.
