The Granada-based startup Neuromindset, a spin-off from the University of Granada, has been honored with two major international awards in the field of education, solidifying its position as one of the most innovative and socially impactful educational ventures among Spanish companies.

The first of these accolades is the Global EdTech Startup Awards (GESAwards) international prize in the "Self-Regulation through Balance, Wellness, and Rituals" category. This award, championed by the globally renowned educational research consortium AccelNet, recognizes EdTech startups that are revolutionizing how self-regulation is taught and cultivated in real educational contexts. Only two Spanish companies were honored this year at the ceremony held in London.

The second achievement is winning the semifinal in the "Education and Employability" category at the Impact Social Cup 2025, one of the most significant social entrepreneurship competitions in the Spanish-speaking world. This victory propels them to the final, which will take place on October 16 at Madrid Arena, representing the "Education and Employability" team. This recognition positions Neuromindset among initiatives with the greatest potential to generate systemic impact on human development from early childhood, applicable in both educational settings (preschool and primary schools) and practical family environments.

Neuroscience, Education, and Real Transformation

Neuromindset emerged from the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at CIMCYC - UGR, building on over 15 years of applied scientific research in developing attention, metacognition, and emotional regulation in children and adolescents.

Their offering is based on a structured, accessible, and scalable program that enables teachers to implement guided training without needing specialized qualifications or individual devices. It has already been adopted in over 30 educational centers across Spain and Latin America, benefiting thousands of children, teachers, and families.

National and International Projection

These awards not only validate Neuromindset's pedagogical and scientific robustness but also confirm its global relevance, opening new avenues for its expansion into public and private education systems in Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

"Receiving these recognitions fills us with pride, but above all, it motivates us to continue working so that training attention and self-regulation in classrooms becomes as common as learning to read," states Joan Paul Pozuelos, CEO and co-founder of the project.

Neuromindset excels in the development and application of developmental cognitive neuroscience in the educational field. The company focuses on providing evidence-based solutions to improve mental and socio-emotional skills in children and young people. Utilizing artificial intelligence and advanced technological tools, the company has developed platforms like Neuromindset-Schools, aimed at enhancing students' attention and self-regulation both in the classroom and at home, through games, activities, and resources for teachers in these school stages and for families.

Its implementation has already begun in public and private schools in Spain, Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, and Colombia, and among its challenges for the remainder
