Postdoctoral Research Associate in EEG/tACS Studies of Episodic Memory

Bowdoin College seeks applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Nyhus lab in the Department of Psychology and Program in Neuroscience. Our lab conducts research on the neural basis of executive function and episodic memory. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct research for a two-year NIMH funded project on the role of theta oscillations in episodic memory. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will assist with designing EEG/tACS experiments, implementation, analysis, presentation, and publication of the research.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related discipline or must show evidence that a Ph.D. will be completed before the start of the position. Applicants are welcome from scientists with interests related to the study of executive function and/or episodic memory. Experience with behavioral, EEG, tACS, or other cognitive neuroscience methodologies is also a requirement for this position. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to research with undergraduate students.
