Post-doc position (100% fte, TVL-E13) at the Institute of Experimental Psychology, Comparative Psychology, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf*
Applications are invited for a 2-year post-doc position in the Comparative Psychology research group headed by Tobias Kalenscher. In this post-doc project, we will investigate the neural signatures of self-control and social decision making using fMRI (Crockett et al., Neuron, 2013; Strombach et al., PNAS, 2015). The position is available from February 2017.

Full-time post doc and PhD positions are available in the Brain Attention and Time Lab of Dr. Ayelet N. Landau at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Initial appointment will be for one year with the option to renew annually up to 4 years. Preferred starting date: January 2017

A two-year post-doctoral position is opened at the Cognition and Brain Plasticity Unit (www.brainvitge.org) of the University of Barcelona associated to the ERC Starting Grant leaded by Ruth de Diego-Balaguer. The project studies how attention oriented in time has an important role in Language Learning both in the course of development and in learning a second language. The relation between attention and language learning is relevant also for our understanding of language deficits and their rehabilitation. The different studies in the project combine MRI data (DTI with tractography, fMRI) and EEG and are developed in infants, children and healthy and neurological adult participants.

A position as a Postdoctoral Researcher is available to be filled starting December 2016 to work on human brain dynamics during active physical navigation using synchronized electroencephalography, motion capture, and head-mounted virtual reality.

Applications are invited for a PhD position to perform research within the scope of the project „Brain and body rhythms: on the relationship between movement and percept“. The project will investigate how the movements of our body influence visual perception by analyzing behavioral and electrophysiological data.

La primera convocatoria en abrir es Starting Grant, para investigadores con una experiencia posdoctoral de entre 2 y 7 años y que hayan demostrado ya independencia científica de sus supervisores y un alto potencial de liderazgo. La fecha límite para presentar solicitudes es el 18 de octubre de 2016.

La convocatoria, dotada con 540 millones de euros espera financiar unos 235 proyectos punteros liderados por investigadores senior con perfil internacional. La tasa de éxito esperada de la convocatoria está en un 12%-14%
