This is collaboration between Laura Martin, PhD, at HBIC and Delwyn Catley, PhD, at the nearby University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC). The research involves functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies of reward processing and decision-making in addiction and aims to bridge clinical treatment research with neuroimaging research in order to inform and improve treatment options for addiction (particularly smoking cessation treatments). The individual will conduct postdoctoral-level research in all aspects of research including data collection, analysis, grant writing, Human Subjects Committee/Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol submissions, preparing and publishing scientific manuscripts and other research duties as assigned.
