Clara Alameda is a PhD candidate in the Department of Experimental Psychology of the University of Granada. Her broader field of research is Cognitive Neuroscience, where she studies how different physiological states, such as physical exercise or sleepiness, might lead to altered states of consciousness and their potential implications as regards cognitive processing, behavior, and brain activity. Her doctoral thesis is focused on perceptual decision making and multisensory integration while transitioning from wake to sleep.
