Clara Alameda is a PhD candidate in the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Granada. Her broader field of research is cognitive neuroscience, with a focus on how physiological states such as physical exercise and sleepiness may lead to altered states of consciousness and affect cognitive processing, behavior, and brain activity. Her doctoral thesis focuses on perceptual decision-making and multisensory integration during the transition from wakefulness to sleep.
