CIMCYC recognizes that holistic well-being, equal opportunity, and diversity are essential to scientific excellence and to a healthy work environment. Creating an institutional setting that supports the mental health and well-being of every member is a cornerstone of our strategy.
We promote initiatives that help CIMCYC build healthy work relationships and collaborations among research groups and their members. At the same time, we work to promote gender equality, as well as respect for and appreciation of diversity in an international environment.
Working at CIMCYC

Working at CIMCYC means being part of a center committed to research excellence, where more than 160 individuals contribute to cutting-edge projects, engage with diverse areas of research in Psychology and Neuroscience, and grow professionally in an inclusive, collaborative environment. We are a dynamic, diverse center that values international talent and cross-cultural exchange.
Welcome to CIMCYC
Starting at a new workplace can bring uncertainty and many questions. To help with this transition, we have created a CIMCYC Welcome Guide with useful information about the center, how it operates, and the resources available.

Public Service Space
CIMCYC has set up a public service space intended for individuals who carry out their work at CIMCYC (institute members, research staff, doctoral and master’s students, PTGAS, and cleaning service staff).
The aim is to provide these individuals with a space where they can express their needs, suggestions, or difficulties related to wellbeing, equality, and diversity within the center, so that specific solutions can be identified and implemented.
This space will be available every Wednesday from 11:30 to 13:00 in office 304 at CIMCYC. To help us stay organized, we kindly ask you to book a slot in advance through the public service calendar.
