Learning Hub

The CIMCYC Learning Hub is a training and resource hub for specialized learning and skills development, created to support research excellence. It offers courses, workshops, and supporting learning materials.

Its activities aim to support ongoing skills development and up-to-date knowledge across the CIMCYC community, including research and technical staff. The Learning Hub also includes activities open to professionals and members of the international research community interested in specialized topics in psychology, neuroscience, and related fields.

 

Training aimed at those approaching a subject for the first time, with no prior knowledge required. Content is developed from the fundamentals and covers cross-cutting skills such as programming and data analysis, with the aim of providing a solid foundation for further learning.

Courses addressing matters of cross-cutting interest to all staff at the centre, regardless of their research line. Topics include open science, research ethics and sample size justification.

Specialised training focused on a particular field, technique or methodology, aimed at staff already working in these areas or wishing to incorporate them into their research. The programme is updated periodically in line with the needs and interests of the centre.

Short sessions devoted to practical knowledge of immediate use to the centre's staff. Their concise format makes it possible to cover specific tools, resources or procedures without requiring a lengthy time commitment.
