María Ruz is Full Professor at the Department of Experimental Psychology at the UGR. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging, and conducts research in the Human Neuroscience Laboratory (https://wpd.ugr.es/~humneuro/). Her interest is focused on the study of how the brain encodes information related to higher cognitive functions, such as cognitive control. For this purpose, she employs non-invasive brain activity recording methodologies, mainly MRI and electroencephalography, and multiple data analysis strategies, especially multivariate patterns.
