Javier Ortiz Tudela is an Independent Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Experimental Psychology at the UGR. His main field of research is Cognitive Neuroscience where we study how cognitive functions such as Attention, Perception or Memory are implemented in the brain. His main projects touch upon Predictive Processing and its relation to Memory. More specifically, he is currently investigating the formation of new memories following unexpected situations and the neural mechanisms by which our experience bias the way we perceive the world.
