The documentary ¿'Quién fue Juan Latino'?, co-produced by the University of Granada, will premiere on Tuesday, June 20 at the Sala Máxima of the Espacio V Centenario, at 8.30 pm.
The movie, directed by Oscar Parada, tells the story of a 16th-century Ethiopian Christian who arrived in Spain as a child. He was raised with Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba, to later became his slave. They were educated together, and, later he was freed and become a professor at the University of Granada (UGR).
In the documentary, there are excerpts from an interview at the CIMCYC with the Granada rock group "Lagartija Nick".
