The UGR and CIMCYC startup Neuromindset, focused on the development and application of cognitive neuroscience to the educational field, has received a first round of funding of 350,000 euros, with public and private investment. With this funding they will promote the application of neuroscience in schools in Spain and Latin America.
The operation provides strong support for the company founded by neuroscientists Lina Cómbita and Joan Paul Pozuelos, which emerged as a spin-off of the research activity of the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory of the University of Granada, headed by Charo Rueda and attached to the Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC).
This is another support for the company's innovative vision in the edtech sector, for which it was chosen by the international accelerator MindCET to enter its 2023 acceleration program, reserved for 10 companies around the world, and in the SEK-Lab in Spain .
