PNínsula group focuses on applying neuropsychology and psychoneuroimmunology to pressing societal challenges such as stress during pregnancy, obesity, neurodevelopmental issues in developing countries and gender-based violence. All research conducted by the group adopts a translational approach, examining phenomena from their underlying brain and immune mechanisms up to their clinical application through the development of innovative assessment and treatment tools.
