This group studies the physiological and psychological mechanisms underlying human emotions.
Its main goal is to advance knowledge of the complex relationships between emotions and the biological systems that support them, and to use that knowledge to promote novel clinical applications that help reduce human suffering and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of current psychological treatments.
