SEJ497: Cognitive Training (SetShift)

The members of the SetShift group are dedicated to the investigation of the mind from a cognitive perspective, specifically developing their research activities in the fields of attention for action (and sport), the assessment and rehabilitation of attention and executive function, the role of attention in reasoning, the education of attention, the study of consciousness and somatic markers of feelings.

The main lines of research are the following:

  • Consciousness: Synaesthesia and creativity.
  • Education of attention.
  • Cognitive flexibility: Cost per change of mental disposition.
  • Attentional rehabilitation.
  • Cognitive and heuristic biases.
  • Psychosomatic thermography.
