SEJ497: Cognitive Training (SetShift)

Members of the SetShift group investigate the mind from a cognitive perspective. Their research focuses particularly on attention for action, including sport; the assessment and rehabilitation of attention and executive function; the role of attention in reasoning; the education of attention; the study of consciousness; and the somatic markers of feelings.

Its main lines of research are:

  • Consciousness: synaesthesia and creativity.
  • Education of attention.
  • Cognitive flexibility: switching costs in mental set.
  • Attentional rehabilitation.
  • Cognitive and heuristic biases.
  • Psychosomatic thermography.
