A team from the University of Granada has integrated exercise physiology and health psychology to determine whether high-intensity training protects mental health. The BEER-HIIT study analyzes how a high-intensity physical exercise program influences the mental health and psychosocial wellbeing of young adults between the ages of 18 and 40.
