Inmaculada Teva Álvarez is an Associate professor at the Developmental and Educational Psychology Department and researcher at the Mind, Brain and Behaviour Research Center (CIMCYC) (University of Granada).
Her research line is focused on the study of psychological and neuropsychological sequelae of intimate partner violence against women as well as on their children who are also victims of such violence. She is the coordinator of the project Believe-Child, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and FEDER (European Union). In this project, psychopathological and neuropsychological sequelae of the exposition of children and adolescents to interparental intimate partner violence (father/partner against mother) are studied.
