Teresa Aparicio Mescua is a PhD candidate at the Department of Psychobiology and the Department of Legal Medicine, Toxicology, and Physical Anthropology at the University of Granada. Her research focuses on the consumption of addictive substances during critical periods. Specifically, her thesis is centered on alcohol consumption during gestation, studying the consequences in the offspring when they reach adolescence and testing possible solutions through antioxidant compounds.
