Teresa Aparicio Mescua is a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychobiology and the Department of Legal Medicine, Toxicology, and Physical Anthropology at the University of Granada. Her research focuses on the consumption of addictive substances during critical developmental periods. In particular, her thesis examines alcohol consumption during pregnancy, its effects on offspring in adolescence, and possible interventions using antioxidant compounds.
