
The Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) of the University of Granada has published its Annual Activity Report 2024. This document details the activity and achievements of the center, whose results reflect the commitment and work over the years to achieve research excellence in Psychology and related areas.
The year 2024 was especially significant for the CIMCYC, as it marked the achievement of key milestones that reflect the sustained efforts of the CIMCYC scientific community. These include recognition as a María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence. This achievement highlights the quality and impact of its research, enabling investment in strategic areas that support the center's growth.
The Annual Report presents CIMCYC's contributions to knowledge generation, social impact and scientific outreach. It reflects the center's mission, objectives, research groups and organizational structure, as well as the key milestones for 2024. It also details fundamental aspects of research, such as the 254 publications in journals indexed in Scopus, the 77 active projects, the 19 theses defended during the year and the visits of international researchers.
During 2024, the center also reinforced its commitment to society through knowledge transfer projects, visits of schools and institutes, outreach events and an active presence in the media and social media.
The CIMCYC expresses sincere gratitude to the research, technical and management staff of the center, as well as to the University of Granada community, for their dedication and commitment. Their efforts have been fundamental to achieving the goals and activities reported in the Annual Report 2024, which have allowed us to consolidate the excellence and impact of the research developed.
