
The University of Granada and CIMCYC will host the kick-off meeting and a public presentation event for the NeuroDev project, which will create three NeuroDev centers in Hebron, Bethlehem and Nablus, Palestine, during the week of February 24.
NeuroDev's presentation event, open to the public and aimed especially at associations, NGOs and institutions working in support of the Palestinian people, will be held on Tuesday, February 25.
The neuropsychologist Ahmen Fasfous, from the University of Bethlehem, will present the situation and needs of children's mental health in Palestine.
After the presentation of the project and its lines of action (oriented to clinical training, research and community care), there will be a round of questions with the attendees. Representatives of the project's partner universities will attend the event.
NeuroDev is an international project coordinated by researchers from the Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) and the Faculty of Education Sciences of the UGR, in collaboration with Bethlehem University, An-Najah University and Hebron University in Palestine, and the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France. The Erasmus+ Program of the European Union funds it.
