The University of Granada (UGR), through the research teams at the Mind Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) and the Faculty of Education, is launching the first training activity for the European project NeuroDev – University Centers for Neurodevelopment, funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 program.
The activity will take place between October 27 and November 7 of the current year, and will feature the participation of representatives from the partner universities in Palestine: Bethlehem University, Hebron University and An-Najah National University.
NeuroDev builds upon the NeuCaRe project, which enabled the design and implementation of the first Master’s in Neurodevelopment and Clinical Child Neuropsychology in Arab countries, currently in its third edition. In this new phase, the project plans for the creation of three specialized Neurodevelopment centers in the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem and Nablus, aiming to strengthen clinical training, applied research and community care in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders.
The centers' primary areas of focus include:
-
Clinical training for master's students.
-
Scientific research on issues related to neurodevelopment.
-
Provision of child neuropsychology services to the community.
During their stay in Granada, the Palestinian partners will participate in clinical applied neuropsychology training sessions, in addition to holding coordination and follow-up meetings with the project's technical committees.

The NeuroDev project is led by the University of Granada and features collaboration with the universities of Bethlehem, Hebron, An-Najah (Palestine) and the University of Clermont-Ferrand (France). The initiative has a total grant of €788,753, provided by the Erasmus+ KA2 program for Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education.
