
The Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) at the University of Granada is thrilled to announce a five-day Summer School focused on the cutting-edge research surrounding the characterization and intervention of excess weight. This intensive program offers a unique opportunity for young researchers in neuroscience to engage with leading academics in the field.
From June 2nd to 6th, 2025, participants will immerse themselves in a series of lectures delivered by internationally renowned experts such as Antonio Verdejo, Natalia Lawrence, and Uku Vainik. These sessions will provide a robust foundation for understanding and critically evaluating the latest findings in the neuroscience of excess weight.
Beyond the insightful lectures, the Summer School fosters a dynamic environment for interaction and collaboration. Dedicated spaces will be available for informal discussions, allowing students to connect directly with the speakers, ask questions, and delve deeper into specific research areas. This creates a platform for networking and mentorship.

Participation in this Summer School is completely free of charge. However, due to limited places, early registration is highly encouraged.
The Summer School will be conducted entirely in English.
