The European project “Your Breakthrough: Smart solutions for smart minds,” framed under Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ program (Cooperation among organizations and institutions – Cooperation Partnerships), continues to advance in the development of digital solutions aimed at improving educational support for gifted students and promoting their full inclusion in European education systems.
The fourth transnational project meeting was held in Nicosia, Cyprus, on September 25, where researchers from the UGR’s Mind, Brain, and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC)—Sara Mata, Francisca Serrano, Macarena de los Santos, and María Carmona—presented the progress of the digital platforms MAPFINDER and INFINITY LEARNING. These are the third and fourth tools that form the technological core of the project.
MAPFINDER will be an interactive platform offering enrichment resources to boost student curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. INFINITY LEARNING, meanwhile, will build a virtual teacher training environment that translates theoretical frameworks into classroom-applicable strategies. The next challenge will be DISCOVER, a space designed to foster awareness, empathy, and intellectual diversity within the educational community.
These three tools will join their predecessors, which have already been developed: SELF-SCAN, a self-assessment tool to detect areas for improvement in supporting gifted students, and SMART-APP, a video guide for early detection and diagnosis based on scientific indicators.
This shared vision guides the collaborative work of the University of Granada, the Santos Mártires Diocesan Education Foundation of Córdoba (project coordinator), the University of Cyprus, IDP SAS Di Giancarlo Costantino (Italy), and SCALIQ BV (Netherlands). Through this European collaboration, Your Breakthrough advances with the goal of building inclusive educational environments capable of recognizing the exceptional potential of every student. The project’s development is also supported by the UGR’s Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization and the Office of International Relations.

Your Breakthrough, one of the twenty-three Cooperation Partnerships funded under the Erasmus+ program in which the University of Granada participates, has a duration of three years and a total budget of €250,000.
