This talk was given as part of the 5th Doctoral Student Research Day in Social Psychology, organized by the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Granada and held at CIMCYC. The goal of the talk was to highlight how holding this type of event, and the activities carried out within it, connects with various factors associated with well-being in academia, such as social support, camaraderie and collaboration in research, and a sense of belonging to the research group and the research community, among others. These factors are especially relevant for early-stage researchers. The talk emphasized the importance of nurturing these aspects as a way of maintaining healthy and enriching relationships within research groups.
