The CIMCYC has a Brainvision EEG equipment with 128-channel hydrogel net of preferential use for children. The amplifiers have auxiliary channels for psychophysiological recordings (EMG, ECG, EOG, GSR).
Hydrogel electrodes only need to be soaked for a few minutes in electrolyte before being placed on the head. All the electrodes are linked in an elastic net and are placed simultaneously, so its application is fast and very effective in the pediatric population.
The CIMCYC team has several 128-channels networks of 128 channels for ages between 3 and 12 years old. It also offers the possibility to record EEG signal and video simultaneously. The logging software can be used with event control programs such as E-prime.
