CIMCYC has a Brainvision EEG system with a 128-channel hydrogel net designed primarily for use with children. The amplifiers include auxiliary channels for psychophysiological recordings such as EMG, ECG, EOG, and GSR.
Hydrogel electrodes only need to be soaked in electrolyte solution for a few minutes before being placed on the head. Because all electrodes are integrated into an elastic net and applied simultaneously, the setup is fast and highly effective for use with children.
CIMCYC has several 128-channel nets for children aged 3 to 12. The system also allows simultaneous EEG and video recording. The recording software can be used with event control programs such as E-prime.
