HUM1049: Evaluation and psychoeducational intervention of specific educational support needs (PSICO-NEAE)

PSICONEAE research group was created in 2020 as a result of bringing together different lines of research on Specific Educational Support Needs. It is integrated by researchers from the Universities of Granada and Jaén, as well as professionals from non-university education. This collaboration addresses one of the fundamental objectives related to the transfer and social impact of research results.

The main lines of research are:

  • Involvement of segmental and suprasegmental phonological skills in written language learning
  • Difficulties in learning written language: dyslexia and reading comprehension difficulties
  • Evidence-based intervention programmes
  • Emotion and cognition in High Intellectual Abilities
  • Difficulties in mathematical learning
  • Cognitive processes involved in Specific Educational Support Needs
