We are pleased to announce the next AI, Mind and Brain session on Thursday, March 19, 2026. As in previous sessions, we will have an unguided discussion, so do come with ideas/questions/doubts for discussion (5 minutes of thinking time). Find below the full reference of the paper, the link to a podcast summary of the paper and a couple of questions to inspire discussion (via Notebook LM and ChatGPT).
No prior experience in AI is needed! Just curiosity and a willingness to discuss ideas. Save the date!

Kickstarting questions
1. If an AI can predict what people will do but cannot explain why they do it, is it a real theory or just a "decoy"?
2. Is trying to "remake" the human mind inside a computer (makeism) a mistake that leads to bad science?
*This session will be in English and fully online.
*Please reach out to @email before the meeting in case you need confirmation for your attendance.
