We are pleased to announce the next AI, Mind and Brain session on Thursday, March 19, 2026. As in previous sessions, we will have an unguided discussion, so do come with ideas/questions/doubts for discussion (5 minutes of thinking time). The Mind Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) announces the return of its CIMCYC Sessions series for the 2025/2026 academic year. The first session of the "AI Mind and Brain" season will take place next Thursday, November 13, 2025.

The Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) closed its cycle of CIMCYC Sessions last Thursday, July 3, in the Sala de Juntas in Carmen de la Victoria. The cycle will resume its activity with new features in September.

The last CIMCYC Sessions of the season will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Carmen de la Victoria Boardroom. This session will cover topics including neuroimaging, EEG, and artificial intelligence.

Following our series of CIMCYC Sessions, we are pleased to announce our next EEG+ Q&A session on Wednesday, 25th June. Instead of a traditional talk, we will host a Questions & Answers session focused on EEG+.

The next session of the CIMCYC Sessions AI, Mind and Brain will be held on Wednesday, June 18. A paper entitled “Inferring DNN-Brain Alignment using Representational Similarity Analyses can be Problematic” will be discussed.

we are pleased to announce our next Time-resolved Neuroimaging (EEG+) session which will be held by David López-García, who is going to talk about The MVPAlab Toolbox, a tool for multivariate analysis of EEG data. Designed with an intuitive graphical interface, MVPAlab allows both inexperienced and experienced users to perform complex analyses based on machine learning techniques, such as temporal decoding.
