11F: International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Every February 11, CIMCYC joins the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. It is a date to highlight the fundamental role of women in science and the need to promote equality and close gender gaps in academia. Through awareness and outreach activities, we highlight the contributions of our female researchers, inspire new generations of girls and promote the elimination of stereotypes and the gender gap in science.
